Basic Steps to Paver Patio construction

1. The first step is to settle the size or area of the patio by square foot. This will outline into the appraisal of materials needed later. Mark off the area with a can of white spray paint, slightly larger to allow for paver edge restraints and a footing base at the borders of the patio.

2. appraisal the materials needed, chose desired pavers, Most paver and concrete dealers will let you know how many per square feet for there products. Also appraisal base material and sand, roughly 1 1/2 yards of gravel(3/4 " quarry process)per 100 square feet, this will withhold a 4" compacted base. Sand - a fine mason sand, about 1/4 the estimate of the gravel base should be plenty. Having more is all the time better than not having adequate base material.

Buble Home

3. Digging and making ready for a good paver base is foremost and will be the most time piquant process. Excavate by shovel or loader if available, use local digging laws to make sure to avoid any buried cable. Make base 6"-8" below desired height of patio, the pavers will take 2" of that so the gravel base under the pavers will be 4"- 6". If inherent use a landscape fabric under gravel for better withhold and safe base from soil. Some areas may require a deeper base due to poor soil or modern disturbed soil from new house construction. Next - get the gravel base in by wheelbarrow, shovel, loader, and rake it out to approximate level.

4. Grade the patio base with a 2X4 to get an even and sloped base for water runoff. Slope slightly to where desired water should run, use about a quarter bubble technique on a 4 foot level, make sure sloping the correct way. For larger patios, 2 2X4s may be needed so they would have to be nailed together. If your patio is next to a concrete driveway or bordering concrete or timbers, then use a modified 2X 4 to grade along that border(see picture on left). Take the time to get level, and re-grade after compaction is done (next step).

5. Use a plate compactor or like compaction device to get good a solid base for the pavers. If the gravel is too dry, wet it down some with a organery hose to make it pack better. Grade supplementary times after each compaction until complete.

6. Fine grade with mason sand the same way grading was done earlier, this final grade evens out the rough gravel grade and allows for a nice even base for the pavers. This is only a quarter inch or less layer of sand to speak the proper grade, not an inch of sand like you may have heard of, remember the proper grade and slope has already been done with an easy to work with gravel base.

7. Lay the pavers in the desired pattern, for pattern ideas see reserved supply page, get the pavers tight as possible, start from a point or house foundation to allow for the best looking pattern. Keep in mind pavers will need to be cut with a saw and solitaire paver blade if patio area has curves or obstacles. Straightforward square patios may not need any cutting. To cut pavers, use a measuring technique or quantum with paver in place and mark.

8. Finally, use a plastic edge restraint and derive with spikes about 2' apart or less for more strength. Then sweep with the same mason sand, the finer the better, it will sweep into the cracks and be a dry mortar so to speak and derive the pavers. The dryer the sand, the easier it will be to sweep in. Use the compactor to pack the patio and allow the sand to fall in the cracks better. I would advise to put cardboard or fabric under the compactor to not damage pavers and stop the vibrating noise too, I bungie cord cardboard to the lowest of the compactor, however after a few times the cardboard will be worn, but will work for a single use. Sweep sand again until the paver joints will take no more sand. And the last thing would be to fill black dirt nearby the edge to withhold and landscape to your desire, seed grass or rock (this covers the plastic edging).

Bible Story Crafts - Caterpillar, Butterfly Activities - Kids Bible Story Crafts

The metamorphosis of the caterpillar to butterfly has symbolized rebirth for ages,
everlasting life and being born again through Christ, which makes these Easy Kids Bible Story Crafts ideal for Sunday School, homeschoolers or other groups seeing for kids Bible crafts or other Bible lessons. This craft could accompany a story such as the fabulous photo book classic, The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle (this book also has beautiful collage pictures that can inspire other projects).

In this fanciful book the caterpillar eats all kinds of foods, including a cherry pie, so you may also want to read a short non-fiction photo book to the kids. After all, in real life caterpillars are very selective about what they eat.

Then you can make a comparison to the how the leaves of the right sort of plant nourishes the caterpillar so that it may become a butterfly, just as Jesus' teachings nourish our spirit so that we may be reborn in the heavenly kingdom. There are many fabulous analogies you can find in the middle of the lowly caterpillar's metamorphoses into a beautiful vertebrate of flight.

Below you will find a butterfly craft and tips on growing butterfly gardens.

Supplies

o Wooden spring type clothespin

o Green pom-poms (4 medium sized)

o White school glue

o Pipe cleaner

o White paper

o Outline of butterfly wings

o Markers, crayons or paint

Teacher Prep

Most young children will need a template for their butterfly wings. You can create one by drawing a pair of wings on a piece of paper and photocopying one for each child.

Instructions:

1. Glue pom-poms onto one side of clothespin.

2. Form antennas with a piece of pipe cleaner

3. Twist antennas onto the end of the clothespin that doesn't close

4. Set aside to dry.

5. Color or paint the butterfly wings.

6. Cut out the wings.

7. Transform the caterpillar into a butterfly by clipping on the wings with the clothespin!

Butterfly Gardens

Children love to watch butterflies, and if you create a butterfly garden, they may also have the opportunity to explore the caterpillars and cocoons.

To grow a butterfly garden, you will need to grow plants that contribute nectar, places for the butterflies to lay eggs, food plants for the caterpillars (the larva) and places for them to form the chrysalises (cocoons).

Here are some tips for designing your butterfly garden:

1. Grow nectar-producing plants in sunny areas because adult butterflies rarely feed in the shade.

2. Butterflies and many caterpillars are finicky eaters. Consult a regional field guide to find out which species of butterflies prefer which plants.

3. Plant dense clusters of small flowers such as zinnias, milkweeds, verbenas, and many mint family plants are favored by many butterfly species.

4. Do not use insecticides or pesticides.

5. Design your garden so that blossoms are clustered together by type of plant and also in monochromatic, big splashes of color. This makes it easier for the butterflies to see and catch the scent of the blossoms.

6. Choose plants with tubular flowers or flat-topped blossoms, which make best landing strips and feeding stations. Select easier to sip from particular flowers rather than doubles (the ones with extra petals).

7. Since butterflies are active from early spring until late fall, plant accordingly, and comprise annuals and perennials.

8. Include plants in the butterfly garden that contribute food for caterpillars and that are moving to female butterflies seeing for places to lay eggs.

9. Maintain beloved "watering holes": damp areas and/or shallow puddles.

10. Include abundance places in your butterfly garden for basking. Since butterflies can't fly when their bodies temperatures are below 70 F, they often bask in the sun on stones, bare soil or vegetation.

11. Last but not least, create your butterfly garden in a way that makes it easy for you and the children to enjoy, maybe by including a swing bench in the garden, or bringing the garden to you by planting near a deck or pond.

Encouraging Bible Verses - Inspirational Bible Verses For Life's Hardships

This concept may have crossed your mind at some duration in life, "If God is good, why does He allow terrible things to happen?" Since the start of the human race, daily living has always complex adversity. Although life tribulations can be painful, knowing the Lord's purpose for them can bring relax and hope. God's messages found in biblical verses make it known that suffering has purpose. The Great One is molding His children to be like Him.

Romans 8:28-29 states, "And we know that God causes all to work together for the good of those who love God and are called agreeing to His purpose for them. For God knew His citizen in advance, and He chose them to become like His Son, so that His Son would be the firstborn, with many brothers and sisters."

Buble Home

Here are three key points to study, with regard to personal hardships of life:

First, when citizen become saved, they continue to hold many "rough edges." The journey on the road to sanctification (growing in God's grace as a succeed of being reborn), involves the process of becoming holy and few things in life will build character like heartache. Unfortunately, citizen rarely gain christian maturity while easy times. Instead, pain causes ungodly characteristics to face and military individuals to reflect on their true nature.

Secondly, the conjecture why the Father allows tribulations is to test His childrens' faith. Believers soon gawk that tested faith is stronger and more reliable than untested faith.

Finally, God allows difficulties so that His character, love, and power can be revealed. Throughout life's hardships, citizen who remain with the heavenly Father will find Him reliable and authentic.

As life's storms surface, think of His faithfulness from old trials and rest assured that He is with you always. We are not left alone to work out our problems. As we turn over our lives to the Almighty One, He directs the events of our lives for our benefit, along with the painful ones.

No someone wishes to suffer needlessly, however, palpate and sorrow will mature the christian believer. We can learn from books and from the experiences of others, but most growth takes place as a succeed of personal trials. As troubling events occur, sorrow and heartache may seem overwhelming. But know that He has a plan for all trials of life.

Funeral Home Services

Funeral home services should not differ too much from one funeral provider to another. The main thing that will differ is how the services are handled and delivered by the funeral provider. Also the other main factor that will differ when seeing at the funeral home services is the price which is charged for these services.

Funeral services contain many tasks which involve great detail when arranging a memorial service. The first of these services is the funeral director leasing on your before with all habitancy who are to be complex in the funeral. For example, the religious figure, hospital morgue and the cemetery.

Funeral Home

A chapel can be in case, granted as part of the services, any way many habitancy prefer to choose their own chapel or that of the deceased.

The funeral installation should offer a visiting room as part of their funeral services so that habitancy can pay their respects to the deceased in privacy. This funeral home assistance normally takes place a incorporate of days before the funeral. any way in some cases this is not all the time possible, for example if the deceased's family are traveling from a fair way away, or if the deceased is elderly as they are not able to trip as much.

Embalming is someone else funeral home assistance that many funeral directors will provide. This allows the deceased to be preserved for if an open casket is requested. The funeral home assistance of embalming includes replacing the deceased's blood with chemicals and dye, then aspirating the internal organs so that there features can be set. For some mourners an open casket is essential as it gives them occasion to have a corporeal association with the deceased before laying them to rest. any way this can also be done in a viewing room as stated previously.

Another funeral assistance that can be in case, granted if it is requested is cremation. Most funeral providers will have a crematorium on site. If this is not the case they will normally partner with a crematorium. The funeral home will also be able to escort the funeral assistance or a memorial assistance if this is favorite to a chapel.

Many funeral homes offer a new funeral assistance known as pre-arrangement. This is where you can visit the funeral home before death and discuss your wants and needs for when the time comes. This funeral assistance is becoming ever more favorite as it gives habitancy the peace of mind that their loved ones will not have to bear the load of arranging their funeral.

Many times you will find there will be set packages and prices for dissimilar funeral home services. Despite the dissimilar funeral packages offered to you it is not up to the funeral provider on which services you want and can afford. It is solely your decision. Just because the funeral director offers many dissimilar services does not mean you have to pick all of them. You should only pick the services which you want and are totally happy with to avoid spending more than your customary budget for extra services that you do not feel are essential in the remembrance of the deceased.

Housing Bubble Causes - Why Did it Happen?

The Great Housing Bubble was caused by an expansion of credit that enabled irrational exuberance and wild speculation. The expansion of credit came in the form of relaxed loan underwriting terms including high debt-to-income ratios, lower Fico scores, high combined-loan-to-value lending including 100% financing, and loan terms permitting negative amortization.

Addressing the conditions of expanding credit is a legitimate focus for intervention in the credit markets. an additional one major lending question is unrelated to the terms: low documentation standards. The credit crunch that gripped the markets in late 2007 was exacerbated by the rampant fraud and misrepresentation in the loan documents underwriting the loans packaged and sold in the secondary mortgage market. It is indispensable to an evaluation of the viability of a mortgage note to know if the borrower absolutely has the income indispensable to make the payments. When investors lost reliance in the basal documents, the whole system seized up, and it was not going to work properly until the documentation improved to reflect the reality of the borrower's financial situation. Any remedy for the housing bubble must address the issue of poor documentation in order to facilitate the level carrying out of the secondary market.

Buble Home

There are some factors that created the Great Housing Bubble that cannot be directly regulated. One of these is the lax promulgation of existing regulations as described previously. Even though lenders and investors lost a great deal of money during the price crash, their behavior during the bubble was still predatory. Lenders peddled unstable loan programs to borrowers who could not afford the payments. They did not do this to obtain the asset as is ordinarily the case with predatory lending; they did it to obtain a fee straight through loan origination. Since they felt insulated from the losses to these loans being packaged and sold to investors, they were in a position to profit at the price of borrowers, the definition of predatory lending.

Another factor that cannot be regulated is the crazy behavior of borrowers caught up in a speculative mania. It is not inherent to stop people from overpaying for real estate, but it is inherent from preventing them from doing so with borrowed money. If people wish to risk their own equity in asset speculation, it is their money to lose, but when lender money is part of the equation, the entire financial system can be put at risk, which it was during the Great Housing Bubble. The fickle nature of borrowers became apparent during the decline of the bubble when many borrowers behaved in a predatory manner refusing to make payments on loans they could have afforded to make because the asset had declined in value. Borrowers who were grateful to receive 100% financing and what was perceived at the time to be convenient loan terms were not hesitant to betray the lenders when their speculative investment did not go as planned.

The 30-year fixed-rate conventionally-amortizing mortgage with a uncostly downpayment is the only loan schedule proven to contribute stability in the housing market. Many of the "affordability" products used during the Great Housing Bubble and many of the deviations from primary underwriting standards created the bubble. Mortgage debt-to-income ratios greater than 28% and total indebtedness greater than 36% have a proven history of default. Despite this fact, debt-to-income ratios greater than 50% were tasteless in the most ultimate bubble markets.

Limiting debt-to-income ratios is indispensable to stopping loan defaults and foreclosures. Lower Fico scores was the hallmark of subprime lending. Fico scores contribute a fairly definite profile of a borrower's willingness and capability to pay their debts as planned. Low Fico scores are synonymous with high default rates. Limiting availability of credit to those with low Fico scores was a historic barrier to home ownership because these people default too much. The free shop solved this problem. Subprime was dead.

High combined-loan-to-value (Cltv) lending including 100% financing is also prone to high default rates. In fact, it is more prominent than Fico score. Fico scores are very good at predicting who will default when down payments are large, but when borrowers have very limited of their own money in the transactions, both prime and subprime borrowers defaulted at high rates. Many prime borrowers are more sophisticated financially, and the unscrupulous recognized 100% financing as a excellent too for speculating in the real estate shop and passing the risk off to a lender.

The primary culprits that inflated the housing bubble were the negative amortization loan and interest-only loans where lenders qualified buyers on their capability to make only the initial payment. As the Great Housing Bubble began to deflate, Minnesota and some other states passed laws restricting the use of negative amortization loans and required lenders to qualify borrowers based on their capability to make a fully amortized payment. The Minnesota law is a good template for the rest of the nation.

Any proposal to preclude bubbles from reoccurring in the residential real estate shop must properly recognize the cause, contribute a clarification that is enforceable, and allow for the unhindered working of the secondary mortgage market. The solutions outlined below are both market-based, meaning it does not want government regulation, and regulatory based, meaning it entails some form of civil or criminal penalties to preclude inevitable forms of behavior prominent to shop bubbles.

All changes are difficult to implement and the solutions presented here would be no exception. Any policies which preclude future bubbles will be opposed by those who profit from these activities and homeowners who are in need of the next bubble to get out of the bad deals they entered during the Great Housing Bubble. Despite these difficulties, it is imperative that reform take place, or the country may taste an additional one housing bubble with all the pain and financial hardship it entails.

Funeral Wear and proper Funeral Clothes Attire

If your wonder what type of funeral wear or permissible funeral clothes and attire to wear to a memorial service, here are some things to consider. Remember the season and the place where the funeral service is located. For example, if it is the middle of summer and the death occurred in a hot, desert area, with full funeral services scheduled at high noon, wearing a dark wool suit may not be a wise choice.

On the other hand, wearing shorts and a t-shirt may not be approved either. Funeral clothes will depend on the type of service as well as the lifestyle of the deceased. You can choose somber type clothing such as women wearing veils, sunglasses. Wearing the former clothing colors of black, white, dark blue, or even mauve are still considered to be okay. You can wear business-style clothing or ask the funeral director what they suggest if you are still unsure or need a second opinion.

Funeral Home

If the service will be at a church and you are not a member or well-known with that singular denomination, calling the church office to ask is perfectly approved to do. The foremost thing is to consider the location. If the service is on the beach, you'll wear flat shoes or something which you can walk on the sand comfortably. If the service is at a national park, you'll most likely wear something more casual then if the service was located inside a Catholic church in a financial district of a large city.

Bile Reflux or Acid Reflux?

Although carbonated beverages cause acid reflux, this isn't the only question that some acid reflux sufferers are faced with. Bile reflux is another uncomfortable backflow of fluid that often accompanies acid reflux. However, instead of thrusting stomach acid back into the esophagus as is the case with acid reflux, bile reflux throws bile (a digested fluid that is made by the liver) up from the small intestine into the stomach and esophagus, causing inflammation to both.

Due to the fact that bile reflux and acid reflux can occur together, this means that the esophagus is doubly assaulted, which causes more inflammation to its lining, and puts a man at a higher risk for developing complications.

Buble Home

What are the symptoms of bile reflux?

- The signs and symptoms associated with bile reflux are similar to acid reflux, development it difficult to distinguish one from the other, especially when both conditions tend to occur simultaneously. That being said, unlike acid reflux, bile reflux causes inflammation within the stomach, which creates a biting, or burning pain in the upper part of the abdomen.

Other symptoms that are characterized by the condition can include:

- Frequent heartburn

- Nausea

- Vomiting bile

- An occasional cough or croakiness in the throat

Along with symptoms, bile reflux teamed with acid reflux can ultimately generate complications including:
- Gastritis - This is a complication that is caused by bile reflux alone. Gastritis is characterized by irritation and inflammation within the stomach. Although this isn't typically a serious condition, in some cases it can cause stomach ulcers, bleeding, and chronic gastritis increases the risk of stomach cancer.
- Gerd (gastroesophageal reflux disease) - Frequent attacks of heartburn may be a sign of Gerd. This is when a man suffers from chronic acid reflux which can be a potentially serious issue as it may lead to a condition known as esophagitis - the inflammation of esophageal tissue.
- Barrett's esophagus - This is a condition that occurs after long term exposure to stomach acid and/or bile and results in a convert of color and tissue blend in the lower esophagus. The new cells are unyielding to stomach acid but they have an increased risk of becoming cancerous.
- Esophageal stricture - Scar tissue can form in the lower esophagus, which results from frequent exposure to stomach acid and/or bile. The scar tissue can cause a stricture (a narrowing in the tube) which can lead to trouble swallowing and growth the risk of choking.
- Esophageal cancer - When the esophagus has been exposed to prolonged repetitive stomach acid and/or bile, cancer has the possible to form approximately anywhere along the distance of the esophagus. This is a serious and difficult form of cancer to treat.

How do you treat bile reflux and acid reflux together?

Proton Pump inhibitors - The best way to treat these conditions, especially for those who suffer from Gerd and Barrett's esophagus, is proton pump inhibitors. These are medications that are designed to block acid production. These meds can sometimes also help sell out the effects of bile reflux.

Ursodexycholic acid - This is the most base medication for treating bile reflux. Ursodexycholic acid helps to encourage bile flow.

Other medications - If bile reflux is the supervene of the stomach taking too long to empty, other drugs may be prescribed to enhance the flow of food through the stomach

The real trouble with bile reflux is that it is hard to control. Unlike acid reflux which can be managed through diet and lifestyle changes, bile reflux can unquestionably only be controlled through exact medications or by surgery in severe cases. Unfortunately, sometimes even after treatment, bile reflux continues to plague sufferers. Thus, bile reflux may need to be treated separately from acid reflux.

5 Great Games to Teach Your Kids the Books of the Bible

I believe one of the main goals of every Sunday School teacher should be is that their class knows all the books of the Bible by heart. If we want our kids to grow up being scholars of God's Word, they need to know where every book is and have an idea of its main characters. Here are 5 fun games you can play to get your kids on the road to great knowing the many book of all time.

To Play:

Buble Home

You will need to make a set of "Bible Book Cards". You can indeed do this on your computer with some colorful graphics or you can naturally print the names of all the books of the Bible on some index cards. Some of the games use points. So, on the backs of the cards, in random order, you will want to print point values of 100 to 500. Kids indeed like earning points for their teams. Finally, I recommend you laminate all the cards for long-term use.

5 Great Games

1. Ot/Nt Sort - naturally get 2 boxes and label one "Old Testament" and the other "New Testament". Grab 10 or so of the Bible Book Cards and set a timer to 30 seconds. When you say, "Go", give a child the occasion to correctly sort the cards in their accepted boxes. For every one he got correct, tally up the points for his team. As the children learn their books better, you will be able to give them more cards to sort.

2. Order Up! - Grab a clothesline and some clothespins. Give a child a set of Bible Book Cards that you would like him to put in order. You might want to limit it to 5 cards to begin with until he gets to know the Bible. For this game the points are tallied only on the cards that were settled out of order. The team with the least points wins. You might reconsider setting a time limit on this game as well.

3. Grab and Find - Grab a bucket and put in some Bible Book Cards. Have a child come up and pull out a card. Give him 15 seconds to find the book in the Bible. If he is successful, he gets the points on the card for his team.

4. Name a Character - This is played the same as #3 above, but instead of looking the book in the Bible, the child must say one main character that is in the book that he chose.

Macroeconomics - Understand the Gdp, company Cycle and equilibrium

Since we have discussed the consumer price index, inflation and unemployment in the last article, in this article we will discuss the economic growth, the business cycle and macroeconomics balance in one nation economy.

1. Gdp

Norton Funeral Home

This measures all earnings and output through a series of national accounts. At the end of their fiscal year, all cash flow in and out is added up to conclude the Gdp. Real Gdp is the adjustment for the distortion caused by inflation by measuring the fiscal output of goods and services in a given year against the prices of a base year while nominal Gdp measures output using current year prices.

2.The business cycle

A country economy moves in a customary pattern of four cycles
a) contraction:slow down in increase or recession.
b) trough: lowest end of the cycle
c) expansion: increase increases or rescue of the economy.
d) peak: top end of the cycle.

The general business cycle experiences continuous fluctuations with one cycle leading - no matter how prolonged - to the next and the recession is defined as 2 consecutive quarters of declining increase in real Gdp.

When the economy expands: unemployment decreases, inflation begins to increase and the real Gdp rises.

On the other hand, when the economy contracts: unemployment increases, inflation decreases and the real Gdp falls.

3. Macroeconomics Equilibrium

Instead of targeting any one price or contribute as in microeconomics the economist apply the measurements against the price level and output for the entire economy. This is done by adding up all the totals for the entire period.

a) mixture request curve (Ad)

The Ad measures the connection in the middle of the total number of all output that consumers are willing to buy and the price level of that output. Ad is the sum of what consumers, governments, business and foreigners, through exports and imports spent in the nation economy.

b) mixture contribute curve (Ac)

Ac correlates the connection in the middle of the total number of final goods and services all producers plan to contribute at a given price level.

The two curves are used to predict changes in the real Gdp and price levels and the curves reflect what occurs in macroeconomics estimation curves.Where this two curves cross over shows macroeconomics equilibrium.

I hope this information will help you to understand more about macroeconomics, if you need more information of the above subject, please visit my home page at:

A History of Enron

Enron was originally solely involved with the distribution and transmission of electricity and gas in the United States. In the merger, Enron incurred a large whole of debt, and as a corollary of deregulation, no longer had exclusive ownership to its pipelines. The company had to find a way to generate profits and cash flow. Kenneth Lay hired Jeffrey Skilling to work for Enron as an accountant. Skilling suggested the convention of buying gas from a network of suppliers and selling it to consumers at a fixed price with a contract. Enron was curious in the expansion, building, and execution of pipelines, power plants, and other infrastructure worldwide. After just a year of execution Enron merged with a company called Spectrum Seven, a company whose chairman and Ceo is the former president of the United States, George W. Bush. In 1999, Enron tried to develop their company by creating the Azurix Corporation, a water utility company. Uncut the Azurix Corporation proved unsuccessful financially. The Azurix Corporation, due to their failure to make an entrance into the market, went under. By 2001, Enron announced plans to dissemble Azurix and melt the assets of the corporation.

Enron assertedly became successful, trading over eight hundred distinct products worldwide. Enron was named "America's Most Innovative Company" by Fortune magazine from 1996 to 2001. Enron was on Fortune's "100 Best companies to work for In America" in 2000. The company's time to come appeared to be animated and promising continued success.

Enron faced many accusations of construction links to political power. The company's relationship to George W. Bush, and Houston's local politics has received much attention in the up-to-date past. In 1986, Enron was involved with Bush's company in joint drilling for oil. There are reports that Kenneth Lay and George W. Bush even shared friendship. The Enron Corporation was the largest financial supporter of Bush's presidential campaign. Kenneth Lay has employed politicians who have worked under George W. Bush. Bush also signed off on a law that deregulated Texas's electrical markets, which coincidentally resulted in large profits for Enron.

The company also had political links that reached outside of the United States. Enron created a gigantic and highly costly power plant in India, even though many Indian citizens and the World Bank strenuously objected. assertedly protesters in India were beaten and arrested. The United States ambassador to India, who opposed the plant eventually, joined the board of Enron Oil and Gas.

The screws came loose in August 2001, when Jeffrey Skilling, the Ceo resigned from office for unknown reasons. By October 2001, Enron experienced its first quarter where they did not description a profit. On November 8th, 2001 Enron told the Sec it was restating its income since 1997, reducing income by 6 million dollars.

In December 2001, Enron filed for episode 11 bankruptcy. This was the biggest bankruptcy protection case in United States history. It appears that Enron's problems were not in its energy operations, but from "dot com" investments and in some foreign subsidiaries. The accounting theory practices in located failed to contribute a clear photograph of the corporation's financial status. Enron used accounting techniques animated hiding debts to give the illusion of high profits. When the accounting practices were revealed virtually all behalf since 2000 had disappeared and the company plummeted.

Like many other companies Enron offered a seclusion plan to its employees, in which they could substitute income for stocks in Enron. The benefits to this were that the employees were able to buy the stock on a tax-deferred quantum of their pay. When the company terminated in December 2001, sixty-two percent of the company's 401 k plan was held in Enron stock.
